Dallas Cowboys To Prepare For Ravens Game By Watching Wednesday's Game Live

The Baltimore Ravens game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, originally scheduled on Thanksgiving, will finally be played on Wednesday (December 2) afternoon. The rare Wednesday afternoon game gives the Ravens' next opponent, the Dallas Cowboys, an opportunity to study their competition in real-time from their practice facility.

Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said that the team will skip the traditional film sessions and break up into position groups to watch the game together.

"To be able to watch them play live, I think, will be a little benefit if we did it together," McCarthy said. "I thought it's a unique opportunity. We've all watched Monday night games before, but rarely do you get to watch a game live after you're two days into your preparation."

The Cowboys practice facility was closed on Monday and Tuesday due to NFL coronavirus protocols. The team held meetings virtually and plan to have a lighter-than-normal practice on Wednesday as they prepare to watch the Ravens-Steelers game together.

The Ravens were scheduled to play the Cowboys on Thursday (December 3) night, but the game was moved to next Tuesday (December 8).

The Steelers game against the Washington Football Team was rescheduled for Monday at 2 p.m. ET.
