VIDEO: Usher's Historic Halftime Performance

Fans, football and otherwise, were glued to their TV sets to watch the anticipated Super Bowl halftime show, this year starring superstar Usher, and friends.

The Jackson State University Sonic Boom of the South marching band joined superstar Usher, to perform in last night's Super Bowl VIII halftime show. The legendary band accompanied Usher, Alicia Keys, Ludacris, HER and several others in a medley of greatest hits that were edited down to just 13 minutes.

Afterwards, the band thanked Usher, the NFL and Apple Music for the opportunity to showcase the school's brand on an international stage.

The Kansas City Chiefs are back-to-back Super Bowl champions. The Chiefs defended their title after coming from behind in overtime to beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in Super Bowl 58 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Patrick Mahomes was named Most Valuable Player for the third time in his career after finishing the game with 333 yards, two touchdowns and a pick.

The Chiefs are the first team in the NFL to win back to back Super Bowls since the New England Patriots in 2003 and 2004.
