Florida Woman Sues Disney Claiming Dive-Bombing Bird Gave Her Brain Injury

A Florida Woman is attempting to sue Disney after claiming a bird struck her head on property in 2017. Lisa Dixon is seeking $15,000 in damages saying she suffered a traumatic brain injury and herniated discs in her neck after a bird dive-bombed her at the Polynesian Village Resort.

Her lawsuit accuses Disney of not keeping their docks safe and failing to warn visitors about potential dangers like the birds. According to the lawsuit, Disney knew seasonal nesting birds are a threat to guests.

According to Dixon, getting hit by the bird felt like a baseball being thrown at her skull. Her lawyer says she will need surgery and her personality and ability to focus have been compromised.
