Drunk Airline Employee Falls Asleep In Belly Of Plane, Flies To Chicago

Cargo Hold

American Airlines Flight 363 had an extra passenger on board when it took off from Kansas City and flew to Chicago the other day!

Chicago Police Department reported that the Piedmont Airlines employee was working for American as a baggage handler for this flight. The handler told police he was intoxicated and had fallen asleep on the job inside the cargo hold on the plane!

Because no one knew he was there, the flight took off with the individual inside the heated and pressurized cargo hold. American Airlines said they are very grateful he wasn't hurt and are reviewing what happened.

As of right now, no charges have been filed against the handler and he was flown back to Kansas City. This time in a seat and not in the belly of the blow however!
