According to news sources, "Republicans and Democrats have found one more thing to disagree on: Canadian Rock Band Nickelback".
I wish this was a joke, but it turns out the House of Reps debate the other day led them to argue about Nickelback too. They were debating a criminal justice amendment when one democrat cited that only 4 out of 77,000 were against it.
The democrat then decided to throw shade at the band and add a certain Republican by saying,
"That's probably the percent of people who think Nickelback is their favorite band in this country, it's pretty low. And if Nickelback's your favorite band? I apologize."
The Republican then shot back with,
"Why would you criticize one of the greatest bands of the 90s?"
before admitting to having a Nickelback song on his playlist.
Just another difference found between Democrats and Republicans on Congress!
