Fish Recap G2 MIA v NYM: DeGrom Shuts Fish Down in Start to Finish Sweep

Marlins Fell in yesterdays series finale against the New York Mets. Cy Young Winner Jacob DeGrom pitched an absolute gem, allowing just 3 hits, striking 14 Marlins out, and DeGrom even hit a Home Run to help his own cause.

The Marlins fought back in the ninth inning scoring 4 runs to close the gap to 6-4 Mets with RBI from Brinison and Prado among others. Alas the Marlins fell short and the Mets finished the series sweep against the Fish.

This series was alot close than the 0-3 record the Marlins have accumulated. First two games the Marlins had plenty of chances to steal those game but a few bad innings have shot the Marlins in the foot a few times already this season. One thing this young team needs is consistency, Giving up a big inning every game will lead to lots of losses if the Marlins keep this up
