The Los Angeles Clippers set an NBA playoff record erasing the 31 point lead the Warriors had obtained in the third quarter. Even after DeMarcus Cousins injured his quad in the first quarter the Warriors kept their playoff cool. From the 3rd quarter on it was the Clippers in control. The Clippers out-scored the Warriors 85-58.
Patrick Beverly probably deserves Player of the Game as he frustrated Kevin Durant to no end, having him foul out with 1:21 left in a 128-128 playoff games. Patrick Beverly finished with 10 points but his impact went far beyond those numbers. Gallinari had 24 points and Lou Williams had 36 off the bench. Curry finished with 29 points and Durant at 21.
The Warriors shouldn't be worried about losing this series to the Clippers. All Smart money should still be with Golden State even without Cousins, but they need to learn from this and know it wont be the last time to be tested in these Playoffs.
