Marlins Hope to Get on Track After Team Meeting

The 2019 season hasn't been kind to the Miami Marlins, starting the season 4-15 and last place in the National League East. Most Fans expected growing pains especially in this loaded division, but the Marlins are opn pace for their worst season in franchise history at this point in the season. Starting the year with a split with the then formidable Colorado Rockies, things were looking up.

Since then the Marlins have gone 2-13 and currently have the worst run differential in the league. Getting behind Early, not finishing innings with 2 outs, no Power in the lineup are just a few of the issues the team is facing this season. Starting Shortstop Miguel Rojas called this "the Lowest Point". The Marlins have been relatively healthy to start the season, just not producing the results expected. Brinson will be out of the line-up the next few days as he hopes to recover from his .194 average in 2019.

The young pitching staff has been great at times, but also prone to big innings and the marlins lineup isn't equipped to play from behind comfortably. With a Team meeting after the Chicago Cubs Series Sweep, The Marlins host the Nationals and hope to put together a few Wins to finish the month on a good note.
