YamaMania Strikes Again in Marlin's Park; Fish Look for Series Win Tonight

In his first start since the All-Star Break, Rookie Jordan Yamamoto again had another solid outing in Game 1 of a Series against the Padres. With a safety net of 7 runs, Jordan, with an ERA of 1.59 had one rough inning but kept poised and finished the game strong only allowing 4 hits to the San Diego Padres. Still these 4 hits are the most he has allowed in his 6 starts. In his short career, Jordan Yamamoto has pitched 34 innings, allowing only 15 hits and 6 ER.

The Marlins offense was on fire Tuesday night in Marlin's Park. The Marlin's 2 through 5 hitters had 11 RBI, and 1 hits for the 1 thought 8 hitters. Brian Anderson and Garrett Cooper both went deep.The Marlins would prove to need all of those insurance runs As the Marlin's won the game 12-7.

Tonight in Game 2 of the 3 Game set, the Marlins have Trevor Richards (3-10, 4.18 ERA) pitching against Chris Paddock (formally of the Marlin's Organization). Chris Paddock has has a good rookie season with a 5-4 record but a 2.84 ERA.
