Marlin's Player Profile: Harold Ramirez


After Being called up on May 11th, rookie Harold Ramirez has been consistently one of the Marlin's top hitters. Through May alone Harold Ramirez had 21 hits in 57 at-bats.

After Replacing Louis Brinson, Harold has all but guaranteed himself a roster spot until the end of the season. On a Club struggling to find offense anywhere, Harold in a span of two months has 30 runs, 59 hits, 12 Doubles, 4 Home Runs and 25 RBI.

Not a highly wanted prospect, the Marlin's signed Ramirez to a minor league deal this off-season after he hadbeen released by the Blue Jays. At just 24 The Marlins hope to have found a diamond in the rough. Whether Harold Ramirez is an asset to for some young players or a staple in the future of the teams remains to be seen.
