Miami Marlins Head to Atlanta to Finish Road Trip


After a rough series in Colorado, the Marlins willhead to Atlanta to finish off 6 game road trip. In Colorado, the Rockies handled the Fish in game 1 and game 2 decisively and stole game 3 with 2 runs scored in the 8th and 9th innings to tie the Marlins and eventually win it in the 10th. The Marlins pitching staff has been streched thin since the trade deadline, losing some reliable arms such as Sergio Romo, Nick Anderson, and Trevor Richards. The Marlins were outscored 21-10 in the 3 games.

The Marlins now head to Atlanta to face the 1st place Braves. Game 1 on Tuesday will feature Elieser Hernandez (2-5, 5.40 ERA) v Lefty Dallas Keuchel (3-5, 4.39). First Pitch 7:20 EST
