Butler-Less Heat Take Care of Kings 113-118 in OT Thriller


With the late scratch of All-Star Jimmy Butler due to Hip soreness the Heat pulled out a victory when the Kings came to the AAA yesterday 133-118.

The Heat never had a lead in the 4th quarter but with less than 2 seconds left in regulation, Bam caught the Dragic alley opp from the sideline to send the game into overtime. The Heat outscored the Kings 13-8.

With huge games from Kendrick Nunn (25 pts, 7 reb, 6 ast) and James Johnson ( 22 pts, 6 reb, 3 ast) and blocking the potential game tying 3 to end the game.

The Heat improve their home record to 19-1 and 30-13 overall. Next the Heat will host the Wizards (14-28) Wednesday, January 22 7:30 Eastern.
