Yesterday we lost a tough bet when we took the Cardinals over the Brewers in Game one of their doubleheader. TO our credit though, We went with the Cardinals because of their starter Kwang Hyn Kim, He did pitch 7 innings (doubleheaders are 7 innings this year) and held the Brewers to 0 runs and 3 hits. The Cardinals lost the game in extras innings.
Tonight we are going with the Orioles over the Braves at -165 tonight. The Braves young starter Huascar Ynoa has had a tough year with a 6.75 ERA.
Games
The Steelers handled the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. In Big Ben's return he was 21/32, 229 yards, and 3 touchdowns, so any concern whether he would be his old self should be laid to rest.
The big story was the Steeler's run defense. The defense held Saquon Barkley for 6 yards on 15 carries, suffocating any chance of establishing the run game. 2nd year QB Daniel Jone had a decent game with 279 yards on 26/41 passing with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He also made some critical mistakes such as big a turnover in the red zone.
